Royal Decree 53/2008 Approving the Assignment by Maersk Oil Oman of 50% of Its Rights and Obligations in the Petroleum Agreement Signed on 18 March 2001 (Blocks 45 and 48) to Petrogas Maleh LLC

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Oil and Minerals Law issued by Royal Decree 42/74,

Royal Decree 67/2001 Approving the Petroleum Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate and Maersk Oil Oman BV,

and the collection of documents by which Maersk Oil Oman assigned part of its rights and obligations in the petroleum agreement signed on 18 March 2001 (Blocks 45 and 48) to Petrogas Maleh LLC, which accepts this assignment,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The assignment by Maersk Oil Oman of 50% of its rights and obligations in the mentioned petroleum agreement signed on 18 March 2001 to Petrogas Maleh LLC is hereby approved.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
