Royal Decree 89/2010 Appointing Non-Resident Ambassadors

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law Governing the Foreign Ministry promulgated by Royal Decree 32/2008,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Khaled bin Suleiman bin Abdulrahman Baomar, Our ambassador to the Republic of South Africa, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Zimbabwe.

Article II

Ambassador Dr Zainab bint Ali bin Said Al-Qasimiya, Our ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Kingdom of Norway.

Article III

Ambassador Dr Qasim bin Mohammed bin Salim Al-Salhi, Our ambassador to the Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Gabonese Republic.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
