We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Civil Service Law promulgated by Royal Decree 120/2004,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Ali bin Khalfan bin Salim Al-Jabri is hereby appointed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Dr Isam bin Ali bin Ahmed Al-Rawas is hereby appointed Deputy Chairman of the Public Authority for Craft Industries with the special grade.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
the Law Governing the Sohar Development Office promulgated by Royal Decree 9/97,
and Royal Decree 47/2008 Adopting the Organisational Structure of the Diwan of Royal Court,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The name “Sohar Development Office” is hereby replaced with the name “Sohar Municipality”, wherever it occurs in laws and decrees in force.
Article II
All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
