Royal Decree 50/2011 Ratifying the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on Mutual Exemption for the Holders of Diplomatic and Special Passports from Visa Requirement

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Memorandum of Understanding Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on the Mutual Exemption for the Holders of Diplomatic and Special Passports From Visa Requirement signed in Muscat on 20 Dhu al-Hijjah 1431, corresponding to 26 November 2010,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The aforementioned memorandum of understanding is hereby ratified.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
