Royal Decree 75/2011 Approving the Assignment by RAK Petroleum Oman Limited (Block 47) of 49.9999% of Its Rights and Obligations in the Petroleum Agreement to RAK Petroleum Oman Limited

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Oil and Gas Law promulgated by Royal Decree 8/2011,

Royal Decree 103/2001 Approving the Petroleum Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate and Novus Oman Limited,

the collection of documents by which Novus Oman Limited was renamed Indago Oman Limited,

Royal Decree 77/2007 Approving the Assignment by Indago Oman Limited of 49.999% of Its Rights and Obligations in the Petroleum Agreement Signed on 1 October 2001 (Block 47) to Indago Ventures Company by Changing its Name to RAK Petroleum Oman Limited (Block 47),

and the collection of documents by which RAK Petroleum Oman Limited (Block 47) has assigned 49.9999% of its rights and obligations in the petroleum agreement signed on 1 October 2001 to RAK Petroleum Oman Limited, which accepts this assignment,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The assignment by RAK Petroleum Oman Limited (Block 47) of 49.999% of its rights and obligations in the Petroleum Agreement signed on 1 October 2001 to RAK Petroleum Oman Limited is hereby approved.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
