Royal Decree 40/2017 Appointing Non-resident Ambassadors

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law Governing the Foreign Ministry promulgated by Royal Decree 32/2008,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I 

Ambassador Hunaina bint Sultan bin Ahmed Al-Mughairy, Our Ambassador to the United States of America, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Cuba.

Article II

Ambassador Lyutha bint Sultan bin Ahmed Al-Mughairy, Our Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Norway, the Kingdom of Denmark, the Republic of Poland, the Republic of Finland, the Republic of Iceland, and the Swiss Confederation.

Article III

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
