Royal Decree 5/2018 Declaring Public Benefit Status to the Project for Executing Section I of the Railway Track (Governorate of Buraimi – Wilayat of Sohar)

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit promulgated by Royal Decree 64/78,

and Royal Decree 3/2015 Declaring Public Benefit Status to the Project for Executing Section I of the Railway Track (Governorate of Buraimi - Wilayat of Sohar),

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The attached note and masterplan of the aforementioned Royal Decree 3/2015 are hereby replaced with the note and masterplan attached to this decree.

Article II

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
