Royal Decree 29/2019 Appointing Members to Oman Human Rights Commission

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and Royal Decree 124/2008 Establishing the Oman Human Rights Commission and Determining its Competences,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The following are hereby appointed members to Oman Human Rights Commission, in their capacity as representatives of the bodies stipulated in article 1 of the annex attached to the aforementioned Royal Decree 124/2008, in the following manner:

– Honourable Sheikh Abdullah bin Shuwain bin Amer Al-Hosni – Chairman

– Dr Sulaiman bin Hamad bin Saif Al-Alawi – Deputy Chairman

– Khalid bin Yahya bin Mohammed Al-Farei

– Sheikh Dr Shihab bin Ahmed bin Ali Al-Jabri

– Said bin Salim Al-Shein Al-Numani

– Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Rawahi

– Sulaiman bin Abdullah bin Said Al-Wahaibi

– Labiba bint Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Maawalia

– Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Mohsin Al-Shanfari

– Ayda bint Shamis bin Zayed Al-Hashmia

– Maimoona bint Said bin Rashid Al-Sulaimania

– Yassir bin Said bin Hamdan Al-Dhuhli

– Hilal bin Said bin Hamad Al-Shidhani

– Hamood bin Salim bin Abdullah Al-Sunaidi

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
