We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,
and the Tender Law promulgated by Royal Decree 36/2008,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The attached amendments to the aforementioned Tender Law shall be implemented.
Article II
All that is contrary to the attached amendments, or in conflict with their provisions, is hereby repealed.
Article III
This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

Amendments to Some Provisions of the Tender Law
Article 1
The opening text of article 8 of the aforementioned Tender Law is hereby replaced with the following text:
A tender board formed by a decision of the Council of Ministers shall be responsible for tenders, and it shall have the following competences:
Article 2
Articles 10, 10bis, and 10bis 1 of the aforementioned Tender Law are hereby repealed.
