Royal Decree 70/2021 Transferring the Subordination of the Office for Conservation of the Environment from the Diwan of Royal Court to the Environment Authority

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

Royal Decree 47/2008 Adopting the Organisational Structure of the Diwan of Royal Court,

the System of the Administrative Apparatus of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 75/2020,

and Royal Decree 106/2020 Establishing the Environment Authority, Determining Its Competences, and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The subordination of the Office for Conservation of the Environment is hereby transferred from the Diwan of Royal Court to the Environment Authority; all allocations, assets, rights, obligations, and holdings of the office are hereby transferred to it; and all the employees of the office are hereby transferred to it with their same financial grades.

Article II

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
