Royal Decree 77/2021 Approving the Accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the Convention on Registration of Objects Launched into Outer Space

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

and the Convention on Registration of Objects Launched into Outer Space done in New York on 14 January 1975,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the Convention on Registration of Objects Launched into Outer Space is hereby approved in the form attached.

Article II

Competent bodies shall deposit the instrument of accession for the aforementioned convention in accordance with its provisions.

Article III

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
