Royal Decree 76/2023 Appointing Members to Oman Human Rights Commission

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

and Royal Decree 57/2022 Reorganising the Oman Human Rights Commission,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The following are hereby appointed members of the Oman Human Rights Commission, as follows:

1. Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Ali Al-Owaisi

2. Dr Rashid bin Hamed bin Humaid Al-Balushi

3. Saood bin Saleh bin Ahmed Al-Mawali

4. Dr Saleh bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Barashdi

5. Aida bint Shamis bin Zayed Al-Hashimiya

6. Mohammed bin Ali bin Khamis Al-Marzouqi

7. Maimoona bint Saeed bin Rashid Al-Sulaimaniya

8. Dr Yahya bin Mohammed bin Zahir Al-Hinai

9. Aqeel bin Alawi bin Saleh Baomar representing the Foreign Ministry

10. Jamal bin Salim bin Saif Al-Nabhani representing the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs

11. Suleiman bin Saif bin Suleiman Al-Kindi representing the Ministry of Education

12. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Saadi representing the Ministry of Labour

13. Dr Jamal bin Eid bin Nasser Al-Khadhuri representing the Ministry of Health

14. Labiba bint Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Mawaliya representing the Ministry of Social Development

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
