Royal Decree 17/2024 Appointing Non-Resident Ambassadors

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

and the Law Governing the Foreign Ministry promulgated by Royal Decree 32/2008,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Talal bin Sulaiman bin Habib Al-Rahbi, Our ambassador to the Federative Republic of Brazil, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Oriental Republic of Uruguay and the Republic of Colombia.

Article II

Bader bin Mohammed bin Bader Al-Mandhari, Our ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Iceland.

Article III

Ahmed bin Ali bin Said Al-Rashdi, Our ambassador to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Maldives.

Article IV

Hamood bin Salim bin Abdullah Al-Tuwaih, Our ambassador to the Russian Federation, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Serbia.

Article V

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
