Royal Decree 52/99 Transferring the Subordination of the Sultanate of Oman Commercial Office in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and Royal Decree 61/96 Adopting the Organisational Structure of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The subordination of the Commercial Office of the Sultanate of Oman in the Emirate of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates is hereby transferred to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, provided that it is directly subordinate to the Minister.

Article II

The powers, allocations, and records of the office are hereby transferred to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Article III

The Minister of Commerce and Industry shall issue the necessary decisions to implement this decree.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
