We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,
and the Law of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps issued by Royal Decree 22/2025,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
His Highness Sayyid Faisal bin Turki bin Mahmood Al-Said, Our ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Permanent Delegate of the Sultanate of Oman to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the Permanent Delegate of the Sultanate of Oman to the Digital Cooperation Organization in Riyadh, is hereby transferred to the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry.
Article II
The following are hereby transferred:
1. Talal bin Sulaiman bin Habib Al-Rahbi, Our ambassador to the Federative Republic of Brazil, and appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the United States of America.
2. Abdulghaffar bin Abdulkareem bin Issa Al-Balushi, Our ambassador to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, and appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Federative Republic of Brazil.
Article III
Ambassador Sayyid Najib bin Hilal bin Saud Al-Busaidi is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Permanent Delegate of the Sultanate of Oman to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and Permanent Delegate of the Sultanate of Oman to the Digital Cooperation Organization in Riyadh.
Article IV
Minister Plenipotentiary Thamer bin Fayez bin Khalfan Al-Alawi is hereby granted the position of ambassador and appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Kingdom of Spain.
Article V
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
