Royal Decree 62/2002 Appointing a Non-resident Ambassador

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law issued by Royal Decree 40/86 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Ali bin Ahmed bin Harib Al-Issai, Our ambassador to the Republic of Tunisia, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Great Socialist Peopleโ€™s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
