Royal Decree 102/2010 Abolishing the State Security Court

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Omani Penal Law promulgated by Royal Decree 7/74,

the Judicial Authority Law promulgated by Royal Decree 90/99,

the Public Prosecution Law promulgated by Royal Decree 92/99,

the Criminal Procedure Law promulgated by Royal Decree 97/99,

Royal Decree 21/2003 Establishing the State Security Court and Appointing Its President,

Royal Decree 63/2003 regarding the National Security Council,

the Law of the State Security Court promulgated by Royal Decree 64/2003,

and Royal Decree 89/2004 Amending Some Provisions of the Law of the State Security Court,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The aforementioned Royal Decree 21/2003 Establishing the State Security Court and Appointing Its President, the Law of the State Security Court promulgated by Royal Decree 64/2003, and Royal Decree 89/2004 Amending Some of the Provisions of the Law of the State Security Court, are hereby repealed.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.
