Royal Decree 78/2006 Approving the Transfer of Anadarko Oil Exploration Company of All Its Rights and Obligations in the Petroleum Agreement Signed on 26 July 1997 to Indago Oman Company

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Oil and Minerals Law issued by Royal Decree 42/74,

Royal Decree 63/97 Approving the Petroleum Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate and the Gulfstream Resources Canada Limited signed on 26 July 1997,

the approval of the Minister of Oil and Gas to transfer all the rights and obligations of Anadarko Oil Exploration Company to Indago Oman Company,

the collection of documents by which Gulfstream Resources Company was renamed Anadarko Oil Exploration,

and the collection of documents by which Anadarko Oil Exploration Company transferred all its rights and obligations in the petroleum agreement signed on 26 July 1997 to Indago Oman Company, which accepts this transfer,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The transfer by Anadarko Oil Exploration Company of all its rights and obligations in the petroleum agreement signed on 26 July 1997 to Indago Oman Company is hereby approved.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
