Royal Decree 41/2026 Appointing Non-resident Ambassadors

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

and the Law of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps issued by Royal Decree 22/2025,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Abdullah bin Nasser bin Musallam Al-Rahbi, Our ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the State of Eritrea.

Article II

Ambassador Dr Hilal bin Abdullah bin Ali Al-Sinani, Our ambassador to the Republic of Tunisia, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the State of Libya.

Article III

Ambassador Nasra bint Salim bin Mohammed Al-Hashimi, Our ambassador to the Republic of Kenya, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Rwanda, the Republic of Uganda, and the Republic of Malawi.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
