Royal Decree 100/91 Declaring Public Benefit Status for the Project to Beautify and Improve the Area Surrounding the Omani-French Museum in Muscat

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 64/78 Issuing the Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The project for beautifying and improving the area surrounding the Omani-French Museum in Muscat—specified in the attached note and masterplan—is hereby deemed a public benefit project.

Article II

The competent entities may seize, through direct execution, land and real estate necessary for the mentioned project, and all establishments on them, in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
