Case Summary: Supreme Court (Commercial Circuit) Contestation 291/2010 (Validity of Compensation Waivers and Non-Renewal Notices in Commercial Agencies)

The Supreme Court ruled that the legal right of a commercial agent to receive compensation for expenses under the Commercial Agencies Law is not a matter of public order and can be contractually waived. It also confirmed that a clear written agreement specifying a final non-renewable term satisfies the legal three-month notice requirement for non-renewal.
