Translation Note: In the GCC, the terms Al-Idi’aa Al-Am and Al-Niyaba Al-Ama are both typically translated into English as Public Prosecution. However, the title of the figure in charge of Al-Idi’aa Al-Am is officially translated as the Public Prosecutor, while the head of Al-Niyaba Al-Ama is known as the Attorney General.
