We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 36/85 on the Statute of State Account Audit and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 4/89 Appointing a Secretary General for of Accounts Audit,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The phrases “Directorate General of Accounts Audit” and “Director General of Accounts Audit” are hereby amended to “Secretariat General of Accounts Audit” and “Secretary General of Accounts Audit”, respectively, wherever they occur.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force as of 3 January 1989.
