Royal Decree 40/83 Establishing a Directorate General for Electricity in the Ministry of Electricity and Water in the Southern Region

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 11/82 Adopting the Mandates of the Ministry of Electricity and Water and Its Organisational Structure,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

A Directorate General of Electricity in the Southern Region is hereby established at the Ministry of Electricity and Water.

Article 2

The mentioned organisational structure of the ministry is hereby amended in accordance with the annex attached to this decree.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
