Royal Decree 56/87 Approving the Accession of the Sultanate to Some Protocols Amending the Warsaw Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules Relating to International Carriage by Air

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 33/76 Ratifying the Accession of the Government of the Sultanate of Oman to the Warsaw Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules Relating to International Carriage by Air, signed on 12 October 1929,

and the Hague Protocol signed on 28 September 1955, and the Montreal Protocol No 2 and the Montreal Protocol No 4 signed on 25 September 1975, amending the mentioned Warsaw Convention,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The Sultanate of Oman hereby accedes to the mentioned Hague Protocol, Montreal Protocol No 2, and Montreal Protocol No 4, amending the Warsaw Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules Relating to International Carriage by Air.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
