Royal Decree 3/76 Appointing an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Iraq

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of article 14 of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law 50/74 issued on 7 December 1974,

and based on the matters presented to Us by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Ambassador Musallam bin Ali bin Salim Al-Busaidi is hereby transferred from the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry and appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Republic of Iraq.

Article 2

The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs shall implement this decree, and it comes into force from 15 January 1976 and must be published in the Official Gazette.
