Royal Decree 76/2021 Approving the Accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space, including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

and the Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space, including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space, including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies is hereby approved in the form attached.

Article II

Competent bodies shall deposit the instrument of accession for the aforementioned treaty in accordance with its provisions.

Article III

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
