We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
the Oil and Gas Law promulgated by Royal Decree 8/2011,
and the petroleum signed agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman, Occidental Oman Inc, Oman Oil Company Exploration & Production LLC, and Mitsui E&P Middle East BV for Block 9 on 23 January 2017.
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The aforementioned petroleum agreement is hereby approved.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
