Royal Decree 88/2010 Appointing a Permanent Delegate of the Sultanate to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law Governing the Foreign Ministry promulgated by Royal Decree 32/2008,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Dr Madiha bint Ahmed bin Nasser Al-Shaibaniya is hereby appointed Permanent Delegate of the Sultanate to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
