We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law issued by Royal Decree 40/86,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Mohammed bin Said bin Mohammed Al-Lawati, Our ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Article II

Ambassador Sheikh Abdullah bin Saleh bin Hilal Al-Saadi, Our ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

Article III

Ambassador Dr Bader bin Mohammed bin Zahir Al-Hinai, Our ambassador to the Republic of Austria, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Czech Republic.

Article IV

Ambassador Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Farsi, Our ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

Article V

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit issued by Royal Decree 64/78,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The project for replanning the Khalouf Region in the Wilayat of Mahout specified in the attached note and masterplan is hereby deemed a public benefit project.

Article II

The competent entities may seize, through direct execution, land and establishments necessary for the project, in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned Law on the Expropriation for Public Benefit.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Omani Penal Law promulgated by Royal Decree 7/74,

the Personal Status Law promulgated by Royal Decree 32/97,

the Judicial Authority Law promulgated by Royal Decree 90/99,

the Public Prosecution Law promulgated by Royal Decree 92/99,

and the Criminal Procedure Law promulgated by Royal Decree 97/99,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The provisions of the attached law shall apply in regard to juvenile accountability.

Article II

All lawsuits that become within the jurisdiction of juvenile courts by virtue of the attached law shall be transferred to them, in the state they are in, unless they have been adjourned for the pronouncement of judgment.

Article III

Juveniles sentenced to imprisonment prior to the date of the entry into force of this law shall be transferred to a juvenile rehabilitation home for the remainder of the period of the sentence.

Article IV

All that is contrary to the attached law, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article V

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force after six months from the date of its publication.
