We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and Royal Decree 59/96 Establishing the Oman Centre for Investment Promotion and Export Development,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The text of article 4 of the Basic Statute of the Oman Centre for Investment Promotion and Export Development attached to the mentioned Royal Decree 59/96 is hereby replaced with the following text:
Article 4
The management of the centre must be undertaken by a board of directors formed under the chairmanship of the minister and the membership of a representative whose position is not less than a director general for each of the following:
– Ministry of National Economy.
– Ministry of Oil and Gas.
– Foreign Ministry.
– Ministry of Manpower.
– Royal Oman Police.
– Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources.
– Ministry of Agriculture.
– Ministry of Fisheries.
– Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs.
– Ministry of Tourism.
– Five representatives of the private sector selected by the minister in coordination with the Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
– The chief executive officer of the centre.
The chief executive officer shall replace the chairman in his absence.
Article II
All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

and the Law Governing the Foreign Ministry promulgated by Royal Decree 32/2008,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Ambassador Khalid bin Hashil bin Mohammed Al-Musalhi, Our ambassador to Japan, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to Australia.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
the Land Law issued by Royal Decree 5/80,
the Real Estate Register System issued by Royal Decree 2/98,
the Financial Law issued by Royal Decree 47/98,
and Royal Decision 5/83,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The period allocated to decide on applications for proving ownership and demarcating boundaries submitted to the competent land affairs committees in the directorates general and directorates of housing is hereby extended for a period starting from the date of the end of the period specified in the mentioned Land Law. The Council of Ministers may extend this period before its end for another period if necessary.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

The ambassadors named below are hereby transferred to the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry:
1. Salim bin Fankhar bin Ali Al-Shanfari, Our ambassador to the Republic of Sudan.
2. Mohammed bin Yousuf bin Dawood Shalwani, Our ambassador to the Republic of India.
3. Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Zahir Al-Hinai, Our ambassador to Brunei Darussalam.
Article II
Those named below are hereby granted the title of ambassador, and are hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the state next to their name:
1. Minister Plenipotentiary Abdullah bin Rashid bin Ali Al-Madelwi: Republic of Sudan.
2. Advisor Ahmed bin Barakat bin Abdullah Al-Ibrahim: Republic of Senegal.
3. Advisor Sheikh Humaid bin Ali bin Sultan Al-Maani: Republic of India.
4. Advisor Sayyid Fakhri bin Mohammed bin Said Al-Said: Brunei Darussalam.
5. Advisor Yahya bin Moosa bin Isa Al-Bakri: United Republic of Tanzania.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
