We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and Royal Decree 30/2008 Issuing the Law on Juvenile Accountability,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The period stipulated in article V of the aforementioned Royal Decree 30/2008 Issuing the Law on Juvenile Accountability is hereby renewed for six months. The Council of Ministers may—if necessary—renew this article before its expiry.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on 9 September 2008.

the Civil Service Law promulgated by Royal Decree 120/2004,

and Royal Decree 71/2006 Issuing the Law of Sultan Qaboos University and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Dr Ali bin Saud bin Ali Al-Bimani—Vice Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University—is hereby granted the special grade.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Agreement on the Arab Collective Negotiation Mechanism with Regional and Sub-Regional Blocs in the Field of Air Transport signed on 17 Sha’ban 1326, corresponding to 11 September 2006,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The aforementioned agreement is hereby ratified.

Article II

Competent entities shall deposit the instrument of ratification for the aforementioned agreement in accordance with its provisions.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
