We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and Royal Decree 6/91 Adopting the Administrative Division of the Sultanate and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The administrative level of Niyabat Mazyunah is hereby raised to a wilayat, and it is added to clause 8 of the annex attached to the mentioned Royal Decree 6/91 Adopting the Administrative Division of the Sultanate.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

and Royal Decree 4/2006 Adding Some Employment and Pension Provisions in Relation to Ministry Undersecretaries and Their Equivalent to the Law of Civil Service and the Law on Pensions and End of Service Gratuity for Omani Government Employees,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Dr Ali bin Jaafar bin Mohammed bin Sulaiman Al-Lawatia is hereby appointed Advisor for Health Affairs in the Ministry of Health and granted the special grade.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

have decreed as follows

The assignment of Encana International Company of 50% of its rights and obligations in the mentioned petroleum agreement signed on 9 February 2003 to Denerco Oil Company is hereby approved.
