We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Customs System Law of 1978 issued by Royal Decree 22/78 and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Article 76bis(1) of the mentioned Customs System Law is hereby repealed.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

and the Joint Defence Agreement of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf signed by Their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the council, at the twenty-first session of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf held in the State of Bahrain during the period from 30 to 31 December 2000,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The mentioned Joint Defence Agreement of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf is hereby ratified.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

have decreed as follows
Article I
Abdullah bin Salim bin Amer Al-Rawas is hereby appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Article II
All that is contrary to this decree is hereby repealed.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
