We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and Royal Decree 38/83 Establishing the Oman Authority for Television Art Production,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The Oman Authority for Television Art Production is hereby abolished.
Article II
The net assets and liabilities of the authority are hereby transferred to the Ministry of Information, and all employees of the authority are hereby transferred to it with their same employment status.
Article III
The mentioned Royal Decree 38/83 is hereby repealed.
Article IV
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

and the Agreement on the Promotion and Protection of Investments Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Finland signed in Muscat on 27 September 1997,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The mentioned Agreement on the Promotion and Protection of Investments between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Finland is hereby ratified.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
the Oil and Minerals Law issued by Royal Decree 42/74,
the contract dated 17 May 1997 by which Philips Petroleum Oman Limited assigned 25% (twenty-five percent) of its rights and obligations in the petroleum agreement signed on 15 July 1996 to Maersk Oil Oman AS, which accepts this assignment,
and the letter of the Minister of Oil and Minerals dated 13 April 1997 approving the assignment,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The assignment by Philips Petroleum Oman Limited of 25% (twenty-five percent) of its rights and obligations in the mentioned petroleum agreement signed on 15 July 1996 to Maersk Oil Oman AS is hereby approved. The final shares of the parties to the agreement are as follows:
75% for Philips Petroleum Oman Limited.
25% for Maersk Oil Oman AS.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Murshid bin Bilal bin Abdullah Al-Abri is hereby appointed Deputy President of the Commercial Court.
