Royal Decree 46/2013 Reinstating Omani Nationality

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law Governing Omani Nationality promulgated by Royal Decree 3/83,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Omani nationality is hereby reinstated to those named in the attached list, from the date stated next to each name.

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette.

Royal Decree 45/2013 Establishing Directorates General in the Ministry of Manpower

Arabic We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96, the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 26/75, Royal Decree 76/2004 Determining the Competences of the Ministry of Manpower and Adopting Its Organisational Structure, and Royal Decree 114/2011 Approving the Administrative Division of the Sultanate and Governing the Work of Governors, and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Two directorates general are hereby established within the Ministry of Manpower: The first is the Directorate General of Manpower in the Governorate of Batinah South, and the second is the Directorate General of Manpower in Governorate of Sharqiyah North.

Article II

Royal Decree 44/2013 Issuing the System of Social Insurance for Self-Employed Omanis and Their Equivalent (Repealed)

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Social Insurance Law promulgated by Royal Decree 72/91,

the System of Social Insurance of Omanis Working Abroad and Their Equivalent promulgated by Royal Decree 32/2000,

and Royal Decree 5/2006 regarding the Application of the Unified System to Extend Insurance Protection for Nationals of the States of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf Working in States Other than Theirs,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The attached System of Social Insurance for Self-Employed Omanis and Their Equivalent shall apply.

Article II

The Minister of Manpower shall issue the necessary regulations and decisions to implement the provisions of this system.

Article III

All that is contrary to this decree and the attached system, or in conflict with their provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article IV

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force after two months from the date of its publication.

Royal Decree 43/2013 Issuing the System of the Public Authority for Civil Aviation

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Public Authorities and Establishments System promulgated by Royal Decree 116/91,

the Civil Aviation Law promulgated by Royal Decree 93/2004,

and Royal Decree 33/2012 Establishing the Public Authority for Civil Aviation,

and in pursuance of public interest,

it is hereby decided

Article I

The attached system shall apply in regard to the Public Authority for Civil Aviation.

Article II

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Civil Aviation shall issue the necessary regulations and decisions to implement the provisions of the attached system, and until these regulations and decisions are issued, the laws and systems applicable to the units of the administrative apparatus of the state shall apply in regard to matters not governed by a special text in this system to the degree that they do not contradict with its provisions.

Article III

All that is contrary to this system, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.

Arabic We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96, the Oil and Gas Law promulgated by Royal Decree 8/2011, Royal Decree 90/2006 Approving the Petroleum Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Hawasna Limited Liability (Block 43B), Royal Decree 107/2008 Approving the Assignment by Hawasna Limited Liability Company of 25% of Its Rights and Obligations in the Petroleum Agreement Signed on 28 June 2006 for Block 43B to Mari Petroleum Limited, the collection of documents by which Mari Gas Limited changed its name to Mari Petroleum Limited, and the collection of documents by which Mari Petroleum Limited has assigned  its rights and obligations under the agreement signed on 28 June 2006 for Block  43B to Hawasna Limited Liability, which accepts this assignment, and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The assignment by Mari Petroleum Limited of 25% of  its rights and obligations in the petroleum agreement signed on 28 June 2006 to Hawasna Limited Liability is hereby approved.

Article II

and after presentation to Majlis Al-Shura,

The aforementioned agreement is hereby ratified in the form attached.

Article II
