Arabic We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96, the Oil and Minerals Law issued by Royal Decree 42/74, Royal Decree 103/2001 Approving the Petroleum Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Novos Oman Limited, the collection of documents by which Novos Oman Limited was renamed Indago Oman Limited, and the collection of documents by which Indago Oman Limited has assigned part of its rights and obligations in the petroleum agreement signed on 1 October 2001 (Block 47) to Indago Ventures, which accepts this assignment, and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The assignment by Indago Oman Limited of 49.9999% of its rights and obligations in the mentioned petroleum agreement signed on 1 October 2002 to Indago Ventures is hereby approved.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance. Issued on: 10 Rajab 1428 Corresponding to: 25 July 2007

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State issued by Royal Decree 26/75,

Royal Decree 55/2006 Determining the Mandates of the Ministry of Regional Municipalities, Environment, and Water Resources and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

and Royal Decree 108/2006 Establishing a Governorate,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

A directorate general named the “Directorate General of Regional Municipalities, Environment, and Water Resources for the Governorate of Buraimi” is hereby established in the Ministry of Regional Municipalities, Environment, and Water Resources.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 81/2007 Issuing the Law on Private Entities Working in the Field of Sports

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

the System of Private Entities Working in the Field of Youth Sports and Cultural Activities promulgated by Royal Decree 41/2001,

Royal Decree 112/2004 Establishing the Ministry of Sports Affairs and Determining Its Competences,

and Royal Decree 7/2006 Adopting the Organisational Structure of the Ministry of Sports Affairs,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The provisions of the attached law shall apply in regard to private entities working in the field of sports.

Article II

The Minister of Sports Affairs shall issue the constitutions of the aforementioned private entities and other regulations and decisions necessary for the implementation of the provisions of this law. Until these constitutions, regulations, and decisions are issued, the existing constitutions, regulations, and decisions continue to operate to the degree they do not contradict with the provisions of this law.

Article III

The aforementioned Royal Decree 41/2001 is hereby repealed, as well as all that is contrary to or contradicts with the provisions of the attached law.
