We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

and the Air Services Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Suriname signed in the city of Kuala Lumpur on 23 October 2024,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The aforementioned agreement is hereby ratified in the form attached.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

the System of the Administrative Apparatus of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 75/2020,

Royal Decree 89/2020 Establishing the Ministry of Labour, Determining Its Competences, and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

and Royal Decree 98/2020 Amending the Name of the Ministry of Higher Education to the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation, Determining Its Competences, and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Competences relating to vocational training are hereby assigned by transfer from the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation to the Ministry of Labour, as follows:

1. Working to provide technical and vocational training, and linking it to the needs of the labour market.

2. Working on developing training curricula in accordance with adopted professional standards and levels, granting qualifications, and encouraging on-the-job training.

Article II

All allocations, assets, rights, obligations, and holdings relating to the vocational training sector in the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation are hereby transferred to the Ministry of Labour.

Article III

Employees of the vocational training sector in the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation are hereby transferred to the Ministry of Labour with their same financial grades.

Article IV

Annex 2 attached to the aforementioned Royal Decree 89/2020 is hereby replaced with the attached annex.

Article V

Clause 14 of annex 1 attached to the aforementioned Royal Decree 89/2020, the vocational training sector in annex 2 attached to the aforementioned Royal Decree 98/2020, and all that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, are hereby repealed.

Article VI

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

The aforementioned agreement is hereby ratified in the form attached.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

Royal Decree 48/76 regarding the Signing of Foreign and Domestic Financial Transactions,

and the Financial Law promulgated by Royal Decree 47/98,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The provisions of the attached System of Signing Contracts and Financial Commitments of the State hereby apply.

Article II

The aforementioned Royal Decree 48/76 is hereby repealed, as well as all that is contrary to the attached system, or in conflict with its provisions.

Article III

This royal decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force after 30 (thirty) days from the date of its publication.

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

the Printed Material and Publishing Law promulgated by Royal Decree 49/84,

the Law on the Censorship of Artistic Works promulgated by Royal Decree 65/97,

and the Law of Private Radio and Television Establishments promulgated by Royal Decree 95/2004,

and after presentation to Majlis Oman,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The provisions of the attached Media Law hereby apply.

Article II

The Minister of Information shall issue the executive regulation of the attached law and shall also issue the necessary decisions for implementing its provisions, and until they are issued, the existing regulations and decisions continue to operate to the degree that they do not contradict with the provisions of the attached law.

Article III

The aforementioned Printed Material and Publishing Law, the Law on the Censorship of Artistic Works, and the Law on Private Radio and Television Establishments are hereby repealed, as well as all that is contrary to the attached law, or in conflict with its provisions.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the day following the date of its publication.
