We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 40/86 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

A Consulate General for the Sultanate is hereby established in the City of Zanzibar.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 8/80 Issuing the Civil Service Law and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 25/84 Governing the Criminal Judiciary and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The services of Mohammed bin Nasser bin Abdullah Al-Buraiki are hereby transferred from the Criminal Court in the Capital to the Ministry of Justice, Endowments, and Islamic Affairs.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

and the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs 1961 drawn up under the supervision of the United Nations in New York on 30 March 1961,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The accession of the Sultanate to the mentioned Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs 1961 is hereby ratified.

Article 2

Competent entities shall deposit the instruments of ratification in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned convention.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.

and the Constitution of the International Association of Lighthouse Authorities adopted in the city of Tokyo on 21 November 1980,

have decreed as follows

The accession of the Sultanate to the mentioned Convention on the International Hydrographic Organization and the Constitution of the International Association of Lighthouse Authorities is hereby approved.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
