We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State of 1975 and its amendments,
Royal Decree 42/74 Issuing the Oil and Minerals Law,
the Mining Concession Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate and Marshall and Prospection Companies signed on 4 February 1973 and amended on 1 January 1974,
and the second amendment to the mentioned agreement signed between the Government of the Sultanate and Marshall and Prospection Companies on 12 January 1978 and its annexes,
have decreed as follows,
Article 1
The second amendment to the mentioned Mining Concession Agreement signed between the Government of the Sultanate, represented by the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Oil, and Minerals, and Marshall and Prospection Companies on 12 January 1978 and its annexes is hereby ratified.
Article 2
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its publication.
