We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
the Agreement for the Establishing of the Arab Gulf University issued by Decision 2 of the General Conference of Ministers of Education and Teaching of the Arab Gulf States held in Kuwait from 13 to 15 Jumada Al-Awwal 1400, corresponding to 30 March to 1 April 1980,
and the Statute of the Arab Gulf University issued by Decision 10 of the mentioned conference,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The mentioned Agreement Establishing the Arab Gulf University and the Statute of the University annexed to it are hereby ratified.
Article 2
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
