We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and the Convention on the Prevention of Marine Pollution by Dumping of Wastes and Other Matter signed in four copies in London, Mexico City, Moscow, and Washington on 29 December 1972 and its annexes,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The Accession of the Government of the Sultanate of Oman to the mentioned Convention on the Prevention of Marine Pollution by Dumping of Wastes and Other Matter signed on 29 December 1972 and its annexes is hereby approved.
Article 2
The competent entities shall implement this decree, each within its mandate.
Article 3
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
