Royal Decree 46/81 Ratifying the Documents of the Universal Postal Union Issued by the 1980 Baghdad Conference

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 69/80 Ratifying the Documents of the Arab Postal Union Approved by its Tenth Congress Held in Algeria in 1975,

and the Documents of the Arab Postal Union Approved by its Eleventh Congress Held in Baghdad in 1980,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The following documents of the Arab Postal Union, as approved by its mentioned Eleventh Congress, are hereby ratified:

(a) The Additional Protocol.

(b) The Arab Postal Agreement and its implementing regulations.

(c) The Arab Parcel Agreement.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
