Royal Decree 77/85 Ratifying the International Telecommunication Convention (Nairobi, 1982) and the Protocols Annexed to It

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 5/77 Ratifying the International Telecommunication Convention signed at Malaga-Tremolinos on 25 October 1973,

and the International Telecommunication Convention signed in Nairobi on 6 November 1982 and the Protocols Annexed to It,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The signature of the representative of the Sultanate on the International Telecommunication Convention signed in Nairobi on 6 November 1982 and its Protocols is hereby approved.

Article 2

The mentioned convention is hereby ratified.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
