We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 44/80 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Ambassador Abdullah bin Ali bin Abdullah Al-Najjar—Our ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Tanzania.
Article 2
Ambassador Ali bin Salim bin Bader Al-Hinai—Our ambassador to the United States of America—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Argentina.
Article 3
Ambassador Hussain bin Mohammed bin Ali—Our ambassador to the United Kingdom—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Article 4
Khamis bin Hamad bin Saif Al-Battashi is hereby appointed to the grade of ambassador in the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry.
Article 5
Counsellor Rashid bin Nasser Al-Lamki is hereby granted the title of ambassador, and is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Yemen Arab Republic.
Article 6
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
