Royal Decree 104/85 Amending the Name of the Ministry of Environment and Its Mandates

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 45/84 Establishing the Ministry of Environment and Appointing a Minister for It,

and Royal Decree 47/84 Determining the Mandates of the Ministry of Environment,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The name of the Ministry of Environment is hereby amended to become the “Ministry of Environment and Water Resources”.

Article 2

A royal decree must be issued redetermining the mandates of the ministry and restructuring its organisational structure.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
