Royal Decree 33/86 Making Appointments in the Diplomatic Corps

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 44/80 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

Ambassador Saud bin Salim bin Hassan Al-Ansi—the Permanent Representative of the Sultanate to the United Nations in New York—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Colombia.

Article 2

Ambassador Mohammed bin Taher bin Alawi bin Aideed—Our ambassador to the Republic of Italy—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Hellenic Republic and the Republic of Malta.

Article 3

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
