Royal Decree 83/86 Amending the Name of the Ministry of Education and Youth Affairs and Adopting Its Organisational Structure

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 40/82 Amending the Mandates of Certain Ministries,

and Royal Decree 107/82 Appointing an Undersecretary for the Ministry of Education and Youth Affairs for Youth Affairs,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article 1

The name of the Ministry of Education and Youth Affairs is hereby amended to become the Ministry of Education and Youth and its organisational structure is adopted in accordance with the attached chart.

Article 2

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
