We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs 1961 drawn up under the supervision of the United Nations in New York on 30 March 1961,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The accession of the Sultanate to the mentioned Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs 1961 is hereby ratified.
Article 2
Competent entities shall deposit the instruments of ratification in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned convention.
Article 3
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
