Royal Decree 70/88 Renewing the Membership of the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman, Executive President of the Bank

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

the Omani Banking Law 7/74,

Royal Decree 25/75 Forming the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman,

and Royal Decree 63/83 Renewing the Membership of the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman and Executive President of the Bank,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The membership of Dr Abdulwahab Khayata in the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman, as Deputy Chairman of the Board and Executive President of the Bank, is hereby renewed for a period of five years starting from 8 December 1988.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette.
